Welcome
to REEE USA!
The
2002 REEE USA Conference was held on October 23-25 at the
Arrillaga Alumni Center on Stanford's campus. Over 75 members
from 40 different universities were in attendance.
BACKGROUND
This conference gathers business, science, and engineering faculty
from leading universities in the United States with the goal
of accelerating entrepreneurship education for scientists and
engineers. Specifically, REEE offers an opportunity for established
entrepreneurship programs to share their success stories, and
for new and established programs to learn how to enhance their
offerings. The meeting includes a formal program and interactive
workshops, as well as many opportunities for informal discussions
with colleagues.
Up
to two faculty members from each school are encouraged to
attend. Optimally, this includes one faculty member from science
or engineering and one from business.
The
conference is dedicated to the memory of Gloria Appel.
REEE

as REEE Europe, with the Center
for Scientific Enterprise in London and the Swiss
