Hotels in Oslo
The Centre for Entrepreneurship has made special arrangements with three hotels in the centre of Oslo: Thon Hotel Europe, Rica Victoria Hotel and Grand Hotel. Visitors need to book accommodation themselves, however you will receive a special rate if you mention a reference number or name.
Grand Hotel
The Grand Hotel has been the talk of the town since the days of playwright Henrik Ibsen. Among their regular guests, you will find heads of state, Nobel Peace Prize winners, and other well-known figures in the fields of business and entertainment.
The Grand Hotel first opened its doors in 1874. The Louis XVI revival style building, with its hint of Nordic art nouveau and characteristic clock tower from 1913, is right on Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main street, and stands as a symbol of a first-class hotel with tradition, atmosphere and style.

Rica Victoria Hotel
A short walk from Aker Brygge you will find this first-class business hotel in the heart of Oslo, only 200 meters from the parliament building, Karl Johans gate and Oslo City Hall. There is also a rich variety of shopping right at your doorstep. Also close to the harbour, ferries will take you out into Oslofjorden and to attractions like the Kon-Tiki Museum on Bygdøy.

Thon Hotel Europa is located in the heart of Oslo, close to business and shopping areas. The Parliament, the Royal Castle, the National Gallery, and the Ministries are within walking distance.

Transportation
Air Travel
There are three airports serving Oslo:

Oslo Lufthavn, Gardermoen, is located 50 km north of the centre of Oslo, which is the main airport in Oslo (http://www.osl.no/en/osl).
We do not recommend a taxi from the airport, as it is very expensive. We would recommend you to use the Airport Express Train or the Airport Express Coach.
For more information on transportation from the airport you can check the Osl Homepage. - Sandefjord Airport, Torp, is located 110 km from Oslo. The shuttlebus Torp ekspressen will take you to Oslo in approximately 1 hr and 45 minutes.
- Moss Airport Rygge is located about 65 km from the centre of Oslo in southeastern Norway. Shuttle bus Rygge-Ekspressen takes 1 hr and 5 minutes.
Getting around in Oslo
Oslo has a good public transportation system consisting of buses, subways and Trams.
